Maybe eventually?

darthspudius: You think GOG is perfect, that is cute.

MadalinStroe: What? I think you just failed at reading! :P

Edit: Or I failed at understanding the initial post, if it was meant to be ironic.
I was poking fun...

It's ok. They will eventually come here. Eventually. Bigger fish to fry first. Many great games that are almost a decade old should be considered old by now. I'd rather have Ubisoft give us a sweet complete edition of Assassin's Creed II, drm-free and all that shabang.

While I do agree that really old games are what brought GOG to popularity, many of the most renowned franchises are already here. Now, unless more obscure titles present the possibility for high profitability given the effort that has to be put into bringing them here, with all that optimization and paperwork stuff needing to be dealt with, I would recommend GOG's administration to switch their focus to video games at least half a decade newer than the average on the present store.

I'd prefer them to make those great titles available again:

But don't hold your breath for Blade Runner. Aside from the licencing issues, the source code for the game is lost, and apparently on modern computers there are severe glitches having to do with the many timed sequences that make it hard to play that need access to the source code to fix.

The source code of most games on GOG is lost, so what?
99% of community fixes are made without source code.

We got Throne of Darkness this past week, so we're still getting highly-desired good (<-- depending on who you ask) old games. Mainly just Activision ones right now, but as I've siad before, after their 4 year absence it's great to see so many coming.
