Though to be fair G2A was also an official distribution platform for Grey Goo (RTS game from Petroglyph). Grey Box (publisher) even talked about it in pre-release stream and recommended it as a place to buy Grey Goo. Which was very weird knowing how shaddy that website is. Use it at your own peril.

wizisi2k: legitimate sites to look at for game keys: humblebundle, direct from developer, Steam, GOG, direct2drive, and there may be a few others. GMG according to keyradar.com, is a yellow site, meaning use with caution. I would imagine g2a.com is red. Kickstarter can be used but not really a store-you get keys with a pledge and not right away.

Malwarebytes blocks keyradar for me. Use it at your own risk. See attached screenshot.

There are a limited number of publishers that would give a Steam key if you purchase their game on GOG, however it's on their own initiative and is unconnected to GOG.
