my name is catte: Well now this isn't true, nor is there any reason it should be. I hate Steam, but they have the right to ban any subject they want from their forums, just as GOG can and does. Freedom of speech applies to government censorship, not what rules companies impose on the forums they host. Ultimately we are guests in GOG's house when using this forum.

CaresBlair: it is amazing, yet lacking any surprise whatsoever how many people both responded to, and even more pertinently MISCONTRUED almost everything I shared. Like it was a simple post, something that was quite clear, so that is on you for flubbing up so hard.
It is amazing that you thought it was worth bumping this thread so long after its death just to say that. Sensationalist portrayal aside, the topic is a non-event.
i think you MAY of missed an L in your name there, just sayin!
So why exactly are you making the case for more moderation?

Stop attention seeking.
A. Thought his point has been made time and time again, Steam is aprivate company and legally can run it's forums anyway it see fit.
B. One reason I don't post often in GOG columns is the way this site is infested with Right Wing types, who though they scream about freedom, want to take it away forrm anybody who disagrees with then and. let's face it, are angry that White Europoean Males no longer have a monopoly on power. Note how a game in which Women or Minorities (not the most accurate term but it will do) have leading roles incur their wrath.
Not to mention types like the guy in this thread who seems to want to bring back lynch mobs and vigilante Justice.
And I have seen Anything Goes forums, and they arenot places you would want to visit twice.
