So seems like crashing when the unofficial patch for the Knights of the Nine DLC is enabled is something.
Could not find any solution though, as it seems like even those with mod managers have had this problem.
Sorry mate, you caught me after I logged off for the night.

I've taken some time this morning to try to offer you some advice, but I'm no expert.
So let's see, you installed the standard UOP (Oblivion), USIP (Shivering Isles), and the UODP (DLCs) ...

I think your load order is screwed up.
"The UODP plug-ins must load after the official plug-ins that they patch and the official plug-ins must be present if the UODP patch ESP's are activated, or Oblivion WILL crash on launch or load of a save. "
The special esp files of the UODP need the true Bethesda esp game files to load first, because the patch esp doesn't simply replace the standard esp like a normal mod would. I know it's not ideal, but you'll have to fiddle with other install methods to get this to work.
You NEED to resolve load order.

Two methods:

Wrye Bash
I was about to do research and repost here, but that article I quoted earlier? Got the instructions for Bashing it in the comments section.

OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager - I'd personally try this method since you want to install Darn later which offers an OMOD version!)
This was my mod manager of choice back in the day. OBMM loads mods in the OMOD format. Now I know that the UOP doesn't ship in OMOD format any more (if it ever did), but never mind. OBMM can create a OMOD from a zip archive. Some users had success doing it this way, so I'm not guessing here. Someone on an old steam thread talked about how to do this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/22330/discussions/0/540738051910610998/

Hope I've pointed you in the right direction. The problem with a manual install is that the game has to guess the load order for itself based on file creation dates, and things go bad quite easily that way. Your choice, Wrye Bash or OBMM. OBMM will work as well once you get the patch installed with Wrye for other mods.
