It seems that people do not longer take a look at game specific forums, when the game is a bit older or maybe not so popular, so that you wont probably get any response to something you post there.

Of course the main problem here is, that gog doesn't offer a forum, this forum is more like a chat-something...
You can't really watch topics, get notifications etc.
For example on the /myrecentposts subsite I don't see any older thread where I participated in, two or three weeks ago...

I would suggests, to start a forum, that is run by the community.

You cant, as it is against the rules.
You cant reply to an older topic as that is considered as necroing...
No wonder game specific forums are dying here.

It is possible to reply to this post here for example:

So it is not forbidden.
If the thread is about an actual topic, no matter if it is actual since years, then it is important and that's all you need to know.
Everyone who came then and say:
"Hey ok this problem is still part of the game and yes it would be useful to find a solution, even after years. bUt tHIs thrEAd iS sooo oLD, _HOW_ dArE yOu, oPen iT agAIn!11!1!" ...
is just dumb ;)
