Well Retro City Rampage is still on my Wishlist and will be until I get it, but another game I would like to play would be Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, I enjoyed the first game a lot and it brought back a lot of good memories of playing it with my mother and we never got to the second game so I would like to play it now.

I would also really like the Doom 3 Pack that I have been wanting for ages but could never afford so if someone gifted it to me since it is on sale on Steam right now I think I would die from over enjoyment.

Thank You in advance to anyone that gifts it.
I have a slight request here. I'm after Oddworld Munch's Odysee ( i never had the chance to play this one, because it was an xbox exclusive back in the day, and i had a PS2) I have never played the PC version either.

It's not available on GOG, so if anyone can spare some blue coins (on gamersgate) to help me get it, that'd be very helpful. Around 1.5 dollars can get 1562 blue coins today. Blue coins can be gifted.

Can you gift coins that you won through your reflink?

I have no idea what reflinks do. Hopefully someone can explain that.
There's something out there called Ultima Underworld.
I would love to finally own this game, been years and it's all I need to finish my Ultima Collection!

GameRager: If that ever happened we'd just make a Steam gifting thread, so I don't think many were upset in that manner as a result of your posts here. :)
----------------------------
You should care, though......you obviously like some things here and at least some of the people here, so why not try to maintain your "tenure" here if only to stay close to those things? (I also think you're pretty fun to have around sometimes, btw, and don't want to see you go.)
--------------------------------
But isn't that how trends happen/stuff changes&evolves on a forum? One person or a few people go in one direction and the rest either accept it and encourage it's growth/acceptance on the forum in question or they do their best to oppose it and get it removed from the forum altogether or diminish it's presence there(if possible). Forums aren't organized democracies......we all don't vote on every decision at every moment of every day.
------------------------------------------
Self entitled as in you(in some of your posts here) seemed to be speaking as if your opinions/wants/needs for how things on the forums should work should carry more weight than others for some reason.
--------------------
Also no, you don't have to take my advice or the advice of anyone here....it might help you in the long run(Here, in life, etc.) if you were more open to taking other people's suggestions instead of pushing them aside so quickly, though.
I see. It's that easy, yet way too much to ask. Still not sure I understand what's agitating people so much - is it that I'm challenging the ever-changing status quo, or that I dare critisise?
-----------------------
I wouldn't quit GOG no matter how much I'd disagree with what's happening at the forums so I wouldn't be "losing" anything (that isn't already "lost") if I stop frequenting the forums. I see no point hanging around if it's behind a "glass screen" - just like I do play some sports, yet barely ever watches any on the telly - "being close" doesn't cut it.
-----------------------
That's kind of my point: I "do [my] best to oppose it and get it removed from the forum altogether or diminish it's[sic] presence there(if possible)". Yet you question my mental abilities for doing so.
-----------------------
Maybe I am; I am certainly used to my words carrying weight IRL. But I actually thought that more people than just me would find this "out of place", as I don't see it as a "personal preference" rather than "common decensy". There's a time and a place for everything, and more so when you're on someone else's turf.

Actually, I do feel a bit more entitled than the average Joe, when it comes to this thread. I've fulfilled many a wish in this thread ($800+ spent on gifts to 100+ complete strangers, most of them in this very thread), yet it's too much to ask of those who're in this thread to receive something for nothing that they try to keep it to GOG titles. Not only that, I'm being scolded for even daring to suggest such an outrageous thing. I don't know about you, but that really sours the whole gifting experience for me.
-----------------------
It may look like I'm pushing away your suggestions quickly, but so far nothing (that I remember at the moment, anyway) has come up that I hadn't already considered long before speaking my mind the first time. Why pretend mulling something over when I've already done so and found it lacking?

So, I guess you're right - it's time for me to stop bitching and just move on. This isn't the place for me anymore.
Whoa... whoa... guys... I hoped I did not cause all these arguments... As GameRager said, I was also only stating my two cents. Let us all calm down, alright? :-)

pH7: This isn't the place for me anymore.
I wouldn't say that. I understand what you mean though.

I've thought it strange that people have been requesting only Steam games sometimes (not pointing a finger at anyone). I read through your post in the "flame-throwing" thread and never got around to posting there and I apologize.

Let GOG stay GOG. That's why we're here. I can understand why some shun the Steam forums, but still. Asking for Steam games on GOG is like asking for Ford parts at a Toyota factory, in my opinion. Just seems strange.

I know these forums aren't really moderated and I wouldn't want them to be either. I'm not saying things shouldn't exist because I don't like them.

I've ignored things for the most part. I don't know how many long-winded posts I've typed up about various subjects only to decide to close it without posting.

I can say to you pH7, that I'm appreciative of the gifts that you - and others - have given me.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. (There's absolutely no need to apologize, for anything, though =))

Even if I won't involve myself (as much - I seem uncapable of not meddling) in this community, I'll probably be around - either lurking or annoying people - so don't feel too safe ;-)
@pH7

If I manage to convince people not to post non-GOG games on this thread, will you re-consider your decision of "lurking and annoying"?

You think that succeeding where I have failed so miserably - and repeatedly - will make me want to crawl back out of the woodworks? You, my good (wo)man, greatly underestimate my vanity and sense of self-importance.. =P

Seriously, though, I'm not doing this to "further my crusade". Most people here don't care either way, and it's not my place to try and coerce anyone into "agreeing" with me. I've tried appealing to people's common sense (well, my version of it anyway) as well as reasoning (probably shouldn't have done it late at night when tired, though), and that's as far as I go - we may not agree on Steam's "place" here, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that "power plays" (for lack of a better wording) rarely accomplishes anything good.

You underestimate how convincing I can be:P Don't worry, I won't fail.

Just keep in mind that it won't change my decision - I'd be quite uncomfortable with my (lack of) presence here being a factor.
