I bought Red Faction 1 and 2 games and I tried out the first Red Faction game.
It's a good FPS game with uniqie story and some familiar sounds (one sound is resembles me from the Blade of Agony fan game).
But I have a problem after the first launch: whenever I set the icon's order by name, type and modification time on Windows 10 desktop, everytime after booting Windows 10 the icons stay when the game was started in its 1280x1024 resolution.
It get bother me.
Anyone can help me how can I stop this weird icon problem?
Did you remove the tick from Auto Arrange Icons?

I didn't put the tick on that option.
I will use an app which can use automatic icon arrange when the OS boots up.

When you launch a game in fullscreen that is not the same resolution as your current native resolution, Windows has to temporarily change resolutions (and aspect ratios). Because of this, icons usually get rearranged on your desktop since the desktop space's dimensions temporarily changes. When you quit the game, Windows reverts back to your original resolution, but the icons won't go back to where they were. It's annoying.

I would suggest playing in windowed mode if you want to avoid this issue.
I have installed the "Dash Faction" app and I can launch in windowed mode on various resolution.
For the icon restores I use DesktopOk app and it rearranges icons to the former order.
