Screenshot shows a single number between 1 and 1000. (Blacked out, or "redded out"). Your goal is to guess that number or be the closest to it when the time ends at 3:15.
There are actually TWO gift codes, and FIRST and SECOND prize. First prize is TW3 GOTY, and second prize is a code with 6 classic RPG's. Lands of Lore 1, 2, and 3. Planescape Torment, Stonekeep, and Divine Divinity.
RULES:
1) You may make 3 guesses in each post.
2) You may make as many posts as you like.
3) Only UNEDITED POSTS are considered. Because the forum software automatically merges a post you make with your previous one if no one else has posted in between and 10 minutes hasn't elapsed and makes the two posts one, edited post, you must wait between posts until either a) someone else posts; or b) ten minutes have passed. Otherwise it will merge your posts and both will be disqualified due to it being an edited post.
4) Game ends at 3:15 PM EST (USA) The first, UNEDITED, post with the correct number AFTER THIS POST, wins. If no one gets the number exactly, closest wins. Next closest takes second. If more than two make the correct guess, first prize goes to the FIRST post with the correct guess and second prize goes to the SECOND post, sequentially, with the correct guess.
5) I will provide clues every 15 minutes, beginning at 2:00 PM and last clue will be at 3:00 PM,.
I will NOT announce any winners until 3:15. So even if the very first poster gets it right, I won't announce it until 3:15 PM.
CLUE 1) It is a three digit number.
CLUE 2) Two of the digits are identical.
CLUE 3) The two digits that are identical are located next to either.
CLUE 4) Because two digits are identical, this three digit number only has two different digits. These two digits are sequential.
CLUE 5) The sum of the three digits is fourteen.
