With our New Year Sale 2024 in full swing, just before the weekend we’ve presented some of the best GOG releases of 2023 that you can get on discounts. But when we look at what’s coming to our platform this year, the future is just as bright!

Today we want to focus on amazing titles that are planned to release in 2024 and are bound to fill this year with awesome gaming moments. Let’s begin!

Manor Lords (set to release on April 26th, 2024)

While it’s developed by only a single person, Grzegorz Styczeń of Slavic Magic, the whole gaming community awaits this historical strategy game published by the beloved Hooded Horse.

And it’s absolutely understandable. The idea of experiencing the life of a medieval lord, growing our starting village into a bustling city, managing resources and production chains, and expanding our lands through conquest – it’s all almost too good to be true!

Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords also prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy, in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable.

We can’t wait to put our hands on it, and if you somehow don’t have Manor Lords wishlisted yet, make sure to do so, you don’t want to miss that one!

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes (set to release on April 23rd, 2024)

Incredibly unique looking action adventure JRPG that became the #1 funded Kickstarter video game of 2020 thanks to phenomenal support from the community, and now is being published by 505 Games.

Its story begins in one corner of Allraan, a tapestry of nations with diverse cultures and values. By dint of sword, and by way of magical objects known as “rune-lenses,” the land’s history has been shaped by the alliances and aggressions of the humans, beastmen, elves, and desert people who live there. The Galdean Empire has edged out other nations and discovered a technology that amplifies the rune-lenses’ magic.

Now, the Empire is scouring the continent for an artifact that will expand their power even further. It is on one such expedition that Seign Kesling, a young and gifted imperial officer, and Nowa, a boy from a remote village, meet each other and become friends. However, a twist of fate will soon drag them into the fires of war, and force them both to reexamine everything they believe to be right and true.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is also available to pre-order right now!

SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! (set to release on March 26th, 2024)

It’s a snow day, dude!

A South Park action RPG from South Park Digital Studios and THQ Nordic. It’s an all-new 3D co-op game in which you’ll join Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny to celebrate the most magical day in any young child’s life – a snow day!

In this title, you’ll be able to team up with up to three of your friends, or by using matchmaking to find someone to play. And if playing solo is more your style, you can certainly do so with ally bots.

If you’ve ever wanted to battle through the snow-piled town of South Park with frenetic, action-packed combat, a plethora of upgradable, devastating melee and ranged weapons, as well as special abilities and powers that will bring hordes of enemies and epic bosses to their knees, then you’re in luck!

SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! Is also available to pre-order right now, and by doing so you’ll receive the Underwear Gnome Cosmetics pack.
Tomb Raider remake has my attention. I'll be keeping an eye on the new Stalker game. I didn't like the gunplay of the first but maybe the second will be good.

GOG.com: These upcoming 2024 releases are looking amazing and we can't wait to play them!

- Manor Lords
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Deluxe Edition
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
- Alone in the Dark
- South Park: Snow Day!
- Zoria: Age of Shattering
- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
- Slave Zero X
- The Thaumaturge
- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered
- Manor Lords
Looks stunning. But in the end, looks come second to gameplay. Will have to wait for actual reviews of the done game.

- S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Deluxe Edition
I own (and have played) the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R.. Found it rather disappointing. So - I'm not interested in part 2.

- Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
Looks lovely. But the amount of JRPGs that I played and enjoyed, can be counted off two hands - not using all the fingers.
So - probably not for me.

- Alone in the Dark
As someone who loves the original series...this piques my interest. Wishlist candidate.

- South Park: Snow Day!
Not my thing.

- Zoria: Age of Shattering
Tactical RPG with turnbased combat = one for the wishlist.

- Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake
I own the original, and while the new graphics are nice, I feel no real need to buy this.

- Slave Zero X
Not my genre.

- The Thaumaturge
Interesting. Another one for the wishlist.

- Tomb Raider I-III Remastered
Definitely interested. And already sitting on my wishlist since the first announcement thread, on December 15th.

Edit: ("coming soon" without a thread of its own, yet)
Yet Another Fantasy Title (YAFT) is an open-world, top-down action RPG set in an absurd fantasy universe full of pop-culture references.

I sense a certain red thread in the latest releases...

Weird that the forum post doesn't include the whole news post. And it's not even that it misses the end, but even Alone in the Dark, which is detailed in between Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and SOUTH PARK: SNOW DAY! in the news.

Which would that be?
Other than the fact that they do seem promising entries in their respective genres, I mean.

Where is God of War (2018)?
I'm intrigued by the AITD remake, but that's about it. :P
I'm all about Slave Zero X
Waiting for God of War (already announced to come here, at unknown date). And Horizon: Forbidden west, since we already have the first game here and PC release should appear in spring 2024 (don't even think about not releasing here, Sony! I want all my eggs in one non-steam basket!).

I'm only interested in the Tomb Raider remasters, but if reviews are at least decent I'll pick those up.

Yeah, for me also the most appeasable title in this news.

I feel so tired: God of War will be released on this week .
Your word in gods' ears.

Although I have already both Spider-Man titles on Steam, I definitely will buy these again here on GOG. Hear my words, Sony. I have all your titles on GOG, but only some of them on Steam. Amen.

It really sucks Snow Day is this co-op focused... thing (I'm still not exactly sure what the game actually is like). I can't help but feel that "if playing solo is more your style, you can certainly do so with ally bots" sounds like marketing speak for "playing solo was an afterthought and it's really not what the game is about but hey - buy it anyway".
Rise of the Tomb Raider?
Shadow of the Tomb Raider?
Darkest Dungeon 2?
Homeworld 3?
and many more....

Still no word on Headquarters: World War II?
