Well, the topic did get a bit out of hand, with people arguing essentially that the topic is bad, which led to it being derailed.
I did at least get a few interesting recommendations, like Even the Ocean (which I remember seeing a marathon speedrun of) and Anodyne 2. (Should I play the first one first? Note that I have access to Anodyne thanks to that one huge itch.io, but the sequel isn't in that bundle.)
(The point of this topic, on the other hand, is that if an active topic is bad or has gone bad, then locking is more appropriate than deletion, since locking doesn't trigger the same forum bug that deletion doesn't. Then again, the topic does have some content that's worth preserving, like the game recommendations (including the one I rejected).)
