I can see it in the "Best of PC games" thumbnail, but not actually on sale. Is it just me or did GoG crushed my hopes by mistake?

It's already been discounted before though. And it's a few months older than Tides of Numenera which is part of the sale.

If you're okay with Steam, Humble has 50 to 60% off coupons for Tyranny in their store, and since it's Paradox, it's probably DRM-free. If you're not, know that it's hit 50% off so waiting for an eventual sale on GOG is definitely worth it.

DLC announced/released today, and also looks like there's going to be an expansion. I'm going to wait for the inevitable Complete/Ultimate/Uber edition down the road.

Yes, my bad. I forgot this was a paradox release, so now the milking has begun the base game is discounted to sucker you into a downward spiral of expensive dlc and cosmetics.

I stopped to play their newer strategy games because of it, but Tyranny is a complete package arguably short for some tastes but it has a beginning and an end and the new DLCs is just going to add more content to explore not hide features behind a paywall and breaking your savegames.
