Not my type of game anymore with all this FPS view gameplay but IMO it does not look cheap or terrible. I'm very sure my younger me whom enjoyed UW would be very interested in playing Underworld Ascendant.

Enebias: I had great expectations for this game, but looking at current material I'm not so sure anymore. Me too. Looks like a Thief/Skyrim mashup, only more colorful (Ziggurat style). Will wait and see; even if it's not a good successor of UU, it may still be a good game.
In its sub-genre? UU is one of the best PC games in general! ;)

Count me as "hyped against my better judgment". My biggest hope is that they'll keep developing the thing after launch, with additional funds they got from sales. Basically early access without the early access nametag.
