There have been several Ultima-style RPGs on the C64 since the late 80's IIRC. So what makes this one so special?

And on a side note several people still make new games for the C64 so that's really nothing special. You can buy some of them on sites like Binary Zone and a few are even available at itch.io.

Maxvorstadt: Wait... a game for the C-64? Developed in our age? Weird!!!
Yeah, people do this. Also just heard about , a new (2016) game for the Atari XL/XE. Several years ago someone also made [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GDZsFQ_haQ]"Halo" for the Atari 2600.

Anyway, really dig these kinds of projects. I can't say that I share the developers' sentiments for 80's RPGs but assuming that Unknown Realm will be how people remember old RPGs rather than how they really were it may actually turn out to be a really good game.

Your game looks awesome!
Brings back a lot of memories of a youth, spent with my c64. ;)

I'd love to play it - however, since I'm German, and we usually don't use credit cards, I am not able to back your project on Kickstarter. :(

Are there plans to add PayPal as an option to contribute to your campaign (after the -hopefully- successful KS-campaign, ofc.)?

Anyway - I wish you the best of luck for your campaign! :o)

Hi there. Your project looks positively awesome! I'd love to get a C64 version but I see the $89 C64 tier is already sold out. Any chance you'll add any sub- $100 C64 tiers before the end of the campaign?

Vote on the wishlist and wait untill it is on GoG. I guess it will be a bit cheaper then. :-)

Already did. But I somehow doubt GOG will be selling the C64 cartridges :)

Maybe the GoG version contains disk files, which you can put on C-64 disks?

Hi, I wanted to let you know, we are opening up the $89 ziplock bag w/ cartridge tier again tonight. We'll only have a small number available, but the tier opens up tonight at midnight PST (January 2, 12:00am, PST).
