My favorite ones are the new Deus EX (HR&ME) covers by Mobeeuz. If only all covers were like that! (not trying to be ungrateful for all other efforts)

New Idea for a 'Classic' Template when there is little time or artwork available. Maintaining the Red_153D / Stuff aesthetic while streamlining creation and updating the look.

IMO it's neither better nor worse than the old office-grey template. I wouldn't print any of them.

You're doing a GREAT job with your regular covers!! I much prefer the individualistic designs over having row after row of boring, identical spines...

One suggestion though: drop the gog-logo. Gog is just a retailer, they have nothing to do with the games more than that they sell them on a website. If I buy a book at Amazon, I wouldn't want a big sticker on the cover with the Amazon logo; it's the same with games :)

Maybe an idea for the people who don´t like the Gog-logo: If you move the logos a bit, so that they do not overlap the game artwork, it would be easy to cover them with the grey background color.

I can´t speak for Mobeeuz, but personally, I will always put the Gog-logo on my covers, precisely because Gog is not just another retailer, but more of an attitude towards gaming culture :)

As do I but this is not always possible. Sometimes there are simply no assets available, so a 'classic' cover is needed. This is meant as an alternative to the Red_153D template when that occurs.

Also, my idea is to release it as a template so others could try their hand - something easy to use.

Not liking it...
- It's like those covers for boxed budget releases (e.g. Virgin White label... but not THAT bad). That was probably your intention - but you asked opinions and that's mine! I like to see as much of the game's front artwork as possible.
- Why is Galaxy mentioned? Aren't these covers intended for offline backup installers?
- Why did you add the age cert.? That one is not relevant in other parts of the world, and not relevant in general for me at all.
