GOG keep making those annoying ads, so I unwishlist the game.

Why not boycott them too? Really now, it seems to me that you're always in search for something to complain.

kbnrylaec does indeed complain a lot, but I honestly can't remember any time when such complains were unfounded. Some food for thought ;).

It's nothing personal with kbnrylaec and my post wasn't about his usual posts in weekly sale threads when GOG displays wrong discounts/no discount at all; his complaints there may be a lot but they are usually justifiable. It is posts like the above or this recent one that doesn't help me think anything other than it's just complaints for the sake of complaining.

Anyways, why would you wishlist the game? To be notified of a sale? I'm pretty sure the multipage banner you'll have to click through to get to the main page when such a sale occurs will make you aware - as will the forum complaining of such :P

Nice idea. Just did the same. Ads which need to be clicked away are clearly on the wrong side of what I consider acceptable.

Edit: I didnt actually click it away. I closed the tab instead. So the ad made me not look at GOG News.
