Everything I could find, including CPUZ and its cousin, just called it Radeon 6700 series. I can't believe how quiet my machine is right now. I should play a game to warm it up. :)
It began its life as a stock XPS 8300. The first upgrade was from Win7 Home to Pro. The next upgrade was from 4x2GB RAM to 2x8GB RAM. Win10 came along, then I bumped to 4x8GB RAM. That gave me the room to put almost any game I play on a RAMDisk for a performance bump that even SSD could not match. :)
The SSD is coming soon. I expect this machine will last a few more years.
With respect to Black Friday, I am keeping an eye on a few systems and a couple combos of parts. I will make up my mind on whether a new box or DIY will happen this year based on pricing/value.

A little bit of investigation tells it probably was a Radeon 6770 GPU.
The processor is still some 70% more powerful than mine... and not that much slower per core than the latest generation, so unless you need more cores, it should be quite alright.

Phenom II for the wi... museum.
