Hi everyone,

first post, so I hope I'll do it OK.

As subject says, when I scanned the GOG GALAXY 2.0 installer in Virustotal, it says "2 security vendors and no sandboxes flagged this file as malicious".

As I can't paste links in my post, you could add:
/gui/file/9fb801ac0dac2b933831589d9acbba91990583795bb78b4aac16e81d94600f5e/detection
to the official URL of Virustotal.

As I was the first person to analyze there the file, I will have the courage to ask the developers of GOG GALAXY to always check the file in Virustotal before public release it.

I know the 2 detections are sure false positives, but you never know... ;)

Thanks for your work BTW :)
Anything that might make people stay well clear of clients, Galaxy included, is a great in my book, but in this case it's 100% a false alarm. Never heard of either of those two, and a quick glance says that they're mainly smartphone security solutions, and the "detection" is a generic one. The name used by Bkav Pro even basically says it's an AI detection of (possible) malware-like behavior... Which may mean as little as making itself start on startup and always run, I don't know.
