Oh yes I remember this golden oldie. I remember it as a very difficult rts. Think it's the only rts I've ever given up on after seriously trying to finish it.
A thing that annoyed me was a bug where your infantry would start to meld into one another when moved somewhere, so that for example 15 soldiers appear only as 2 or 3 after a while.

I did and actually got to play Multiplayer which was top tier fun.
