So...what is the purpose of this thread? SCPM's info and the "leaked" list from "some guy from a Chinese GOG fan site" both purport to predict games which will be released here in the coming months, while Barry_Woodward's list(s) are (as far as I'm aware) about promoting games that he thinks GOG should try to bring here (a category which apparently comprises every game ever made for any platform, ever) -- not games he's predicting will arrive soon.

You are totally right. There's no link between Barry's list and the other two. The reason this thread exist is explained in my OP (i.e. I was already following both lists out of curiosity and decided to create this thread after some interest by fellow GoGers). As to why follow Barry's list, here are some reasons: after seeing the many "it's too niche" spiel and how GoG is not bringing enough "niche" games here I was curious to see how that list would fare. I actually don't see them bringing more than 10-15% of them this year (if even that much (for the reason you gave: it became a list of all indies someone can think of...)).

The ultimate reasons are: curiosity, I was already doing this for my own enjoyment and it's my thread and I'll put whatever I want in it! ;) This being said I have no problem not updating it every time a game is released (and on a list). If it annoys people I can do it less often or just at the end of the year, just tell me. Anyway, Barry's list is here to stay. :)

Wasn't meaning to sound accusatory. As you said -- it's your thread, and you're not hurting anyone. I was just wondering if there was some connection I wasn't getting, or if it was pretty much "these are random game lists that other people compiled and that I am tracking and keeping score on for my own amusement." I guess I have my answer. Carry on, sir, carry on. :)

Fear not, I shall. :)

*Thinking out loud* Though I'll make it clear no more indies added after the 590th game will be counted. What if that thread is revived later this year? Yeah, I'll go and add that in my OP.

Sadly, I think it's fair to say that the "it's true or false" list is false (at least for non-indie titles). You can keep it in if you want to, I suppose.

I still think some games might, surprisingly, come our way from that list. But I won't bet on it. I also think that SCPMs' looks like it'll be completed (maybe not all this year, but a high percentage of the "predictions"). I'm still interested in keeping track of all three.
