I don't use it because I can't. OS too old, apparently. So I guess I'll just ignore it until I finally get a new computer some day.

tinyE: Was it Nazi cream? :P

And excuse my stupid question, but I need to check, you do know I'm referring to Germany regionally locking anything with Nazi symbolism right? :P

nightcraw1er.488: Yes, I am quite aware. Anyway, no I don't believe it was a Germans cream, just the standard squirty version from a can.
But you could always shape the cream like a swastika, right?

On another note, I like the Galaxy Client. It's buggy and such, but it's not too bad. It is nice for my needs.

I don't think obtaining a Germans cream for the purposes of symbolgy is socially acceptable nowadays, entry into castle wolfenstein not withstanding.

hummer010: As long as there is no Linux version of Galaxy, it pretty much has to remain optional. Either that, or GOG has to stop supporting Linux.

As long as lgogdownloader can download my games, I don't really care what GOG does with Galaxy.
^ This.
Makes me wonder if The man in the high castle book (& series) are also banned in Germany. Such a waste. Both good entertainment.

Anyhoe. Just had fun with a patch. I got a free copy of OutlastII so DL'd it via gogdownloader, along with a 200+mb patch.
Once it was installing (extremely slowly for some unknown reason) I went to patch notes to see what was patched already, as the game is quite new.

The patch was:

"Changelog for patch GOG-2 (Windows) (added 26 April 2017):

- Adds GOG Galaxy Features support - Achievements"

Kind of bizarre, pushing patches to gogdownloader & browser, for something that's only for galaxy.

Also going to try to reinstall again tomorrow, as this (single player) game is trying to call out internet & also using werfield.exe (windows help reporter program), but no idea if that's down to the game itself, installer or that patch.
