What games do YOU think are great Summer Sale buys?

If you want to read this from a somewhat objective game time vs cost perspective, great. If you want to read this as games you subjectively LOVE that are reasonably priced... also great. Anything goes.

Just interested in hearing what YOU think. ;)
I'll kick things off with these:

You get a lot of stuff.

Never mind, I can't read. facepalm

Edit, to answer the question:

I'm happy I grabbed The Last Express when it was a flash/daily deal. I really like its style and atmosphere, but sometimes I find it confusing. And I got stuck somewhere in the middle and I have yet get past that point.

In fact I could link here also other AoW games (aside from AoW 4, which I didn't play), but I would especially recommend Planetfall due to sci-fi setting and lots of interesting features, as well as first game in the series, as it's incredibly cheap and gives plenty of fun.

It's not the greatest discount, but so far there wasn't any higher, and this game totally deserves attention, mixing accessible gameplay with great amount of HERCs customization and various features (like re-directing shields power), meaty campaign and good hot-seat... Plenty of good stuff.

Oh, boy. That price for all games from the series (excluding the Cartel), and they all have incredible campaigns - and I'm saying that as someone, who normally is not into western stuff. Plus multiplayer in Coj: Bound in Blood is quite fun.

First game is not bad, but second is has more "everything" (especially in terms of units evolution paths), all those campaigns and single scenarios will need a lot of time. But it's worth it :)

All historical lows:

All of Supergiant Games's games are on sale, which they rarely are. All of them are awesome games and well worth picking up at the sale price.
Bastion
Transistor
Pyre

Also, while it is often on sale I feel that I would be remiss if I neglected to mention one of my all time favorite games of all time. Dragon Age: Origins.
Project Zomboid
Kenshi
(I'm sorry but I can't post links since I'm new here)

Two great survival games that rarely go on a discount from what I've seen. I've been playing both since they launched basically. Both games sacrifice linear storytelling in favour of much more open world and gameplay. Basically the "choose your own adventure" type of games in survival worlds.

Project Zomboid is one of those games that are forever stuck in early access unfortunately, nevertheless it's already fully playable and very fun to boot. Expect A LOT of zombies unless you want to play your own sandbox, which is fine (I do it this way).

Kenshi is a bit outdated since it was in dev since mid 2000s I think. The worst of the issues I have are huge loading times when moving throughout the world and they can be improved only by limiting the number of random characters in the world, unfortunately. Still it's ton of fun, and there's Kenshi 2 in the making: made on Unreal Engine 5 I think, which means the issues of the outdated engine that first one was made on will be gone and hopefully just the good will stay.
Yakuza bundle, but most people already know that and have bought it if they want it.

90% off Van Helsing Final Cut is an insanely good deal for a really great game, although it no longer has any multiplayer functionality, but it's a story-based game anyway, unlike most other ARPGs which are not:

Hundreds of hours of gameplay. One of my favourite gaming series hands down.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/scarlet_hollow
A gripping horror VN that is sadly still in in dev, but there's hours of content and the game offers good replay value.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/dark_deity_complete_edition
A fun turn based strategy game in the vein of Fire Emblem.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_little_acre
Haven't played it yet, but I dig the style and it's dirt-cheap.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/conglomerate_451
A janky, but charming cyberpunk dungeon crawler.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/battle_chasers_nightwar
A stylish and fun turn based RPG.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/the_textorcist_the_story_of_ray_bibbia
It's like typing of the dead, but way harder.

https://www.gog.com/en/game/blood_omen_legacy_of_kain
A classic for around a buck, can't go wrong with this one.

The Tomb Raider games are ridiculously cheap when on sale. Anniversay in particular, captures the feeling of the older games with modern controls and more condensed levels for better pacing.

I've played The Little Acre. I enjoyed it; nice art and story. However, it's also extremely short, which is another reason for its low price.

This is one of the best shooters I've played in the last few years. Never a boring moment, non-stop action, excellent soundtack.. This is a solid recommendation from me

usually anything that is dirt cheap and has been on your wish list for at least a year now

that said, gave outer worlds a try, now i'm like .. bethesda move over
