I'm sure someone has played this thing. The game is available via Steam for PC and PSN for PS3.

Well, I know what game it is, but only because I've Googled-image'd it. I played it some time ago, but I definitely didn't remember that silly FPS counter in the options screen. :S


EDIT: Alright, I just had to re-install it, and I've found the semi-hidden 'Fred' setting. :P

Hopefully someone will be able to work it out without reverse image search.

I know lots of other people have played this. Maybe everyone just has their gamma set really low?

Just to clarify your last hint, this game is also available DRM-free for PC on the Humble Store (for Windows, Mac and Linux and DRM-free).

Maybe it's time to post something from the game itself, not an option menu? ;)

I guess it depends on your interpretation of the thread. I consider it to be a 'what game is this screenshot from' thread rather than an 'I'm thinking of a game and here are some screenshots from it' thread.

Sure but then you wouldn't need to post hints about it ;) I consider it "let us have some fun with guessing the game from a screenshot" type of thread. And if nobody has a clue then it is not really fun.

But maybe if we wait a bit longer somebody will give a good answer :)
