Found it, the "AOE" file name gave it away. It's https://www.gog.com/en/game/medieval_battlefields

I've been a bit interested on the game since the launch, is it any good?

You got it. And yes, I like it, it's a bit like a turn based AoE2. Not as ambitious of course but that's what I thought.
