Trolling
Trolling – (verb), as it relates to internet, is the deliberate act, (by a Troll – noun or adjective), of making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments on various internet forums with the intent to provoke an emotional knee jerk reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument

There is a user which violates this rule about 4 times a week (some of their posts are more fleshed out)

People complain about this user but if their complaints relate to moderation then those complaints are deleted.

But the initial posts also violate the forum regulation:
- Stay on topic, don’t intentionally derail threads, don’t troll, don’t spam.

It's gotten beyond ridiculous now.

well, we found a snitch. The forum was better without these mod rules and snitches.

You DO realize you broke the rules when posting this, right?
(one rule is not not "call out" other users like this, even without including names....you are supposed to send reports to staff instead)

Sidenote: if it is the user I am thinking of, staff have said several times that that user is NOT a troll & to leave them alone.
(the most modding that came from that user's threads was staff telling OTHERS to leave that user alone re: accusations and insults)

edit: There are extensions(adalia/jerkmuter) made by other goggers to hide certain user's posts/threads, or to filter threads out by keywords. If one dislikes a certain user or certain topic or topics it's best to use those.

i seen time to time devs applying forum rules.

i guess they have the rules in place if thing's get out of hands they can act
i guess they care more about the freedom of the poster then say steam.... which is a good thing btw.
