R8V9F5A2: I would strongly disagree with you Sir. They have published well-known series like King's Bounty and Men of War.
Even TotalBiscuit included two of their releases in his 'NEW definitive list of strategy games', namely a game called Perimeter as well as King's Bounty The Legend.
I admit the 1C games might be much more popular in Russia and Europe though, as I've rarely seen an American, Canadian or Australian do playthroughs of them, let alone review them.
Edit: just because a publisher is not popular with American media does not make it a shovelware.
