GOG works just fine on SteamOS. Aand by that, I mean Galaxy and individual games installed without Galaxy.

Heroic launcher partnered with GOG, but that's just Electron garbage.

What erm, exactly do you fear from SteamOS, if anything?
Has not SteamOS existed for about 11 years now?
SteamOS has been around since 2013.
If it was going to destroy GOG, it would have done so already.
