Wing Commander 4 cut scenes have perfect audio.
As soon as the flight sim starts, there is no audio for speech or weapons.

Is there a different audio setup for in game sounds?
Everything right now is set to default, I installed the game and started playing.
What do I have to do to turn on in game audio?

I have the exact same problem. I heard that this was one of the games that was being preserved for the future or whatnot, but it's giving me issues about not having sound during gameplay.

EDIT: Nevermind. You just got to back out and reload the game.
