I got one extra key of Gwent (include Witcher 1). So I make little giveaway. Just write "I'm in" or "Not in" (if you already have access for closed beta). And also you need post a picture of your favorite Witcher cosplay (any character from game). Could you tell me more about Gwent? Will it be a Free To Play game? (Meaning you can expect in-game purchases)? Do you expect it to come out this year? What are your thoughts about the beta?

Free to play game (you can buy packs with random cards for real money). Gwent is brilliant game especially for Witcher fans. I think final release comes in spring or summer. What are I thoughts about the beta? Game is awesome and much better than Hearthstone, my friends played in Gwent more than hundreds hours.

I had seen the FAQ, but I was still left with some questions, so I tried to ask for another source of information.

For example: What does a key mean in a beta with open registration and a free to play game?
Will there be a "pay more, win more" monetization of the game? (it seems to be that way :-S) What do you think that Gwent has better than Hearthstone?

I couldn't say (I've never played Gwent, in any form). From things others have said, I assume you can unlock most of the content eventually just through gameplay -- in-game purchases are probably more about getting (a random assortment of) new cards without having to play several dozen matches.
I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the FAQ. Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe try asking people in one of the official patch release posts here, or poke around on the official Gwent forum.

All Beta players get to keep the premium Geralt card which is animated. You also get TW:EE and a free card keg if the promos are still ongoing.
It isn't P2W if you know what you're doing.
They're 2 very different games, but at the current state Gwent isn't better than HS. I won't explain more here, if you're really that interested, you can PM me.

Better design and graphics, much better arts for cards, better animations (also include awesome animated cards), better music, and very soon they release story mode.

I would love to try Gwent, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to run on Linux as of now.
