...you think of another GOGger when you see the suspension of a Formula 1 car.

...if you're a grumpy old gamer of course.
... if you create & sign petitions for a better (digital) world.
..you have to skip free gifts or big cheap game packs, because.. they aren't DRM-free and\or on GoG!

...if you always have pen&paper at hand's reach as you never know when you'll encounter something during your adventure that you want to pen down.
You do giveaways, just because.

Garrison72: You have 130 games and you've only finished 30 of them.
Um... more like just shy of three hundred, and approximately six... *cries forever*

Hehe, my interest in cars is minimal (I don't even have a driver's license), so I had no idea that racing suspensions had parts with those names. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :-)

they need to stay back cos once they get old some of us might get pushed over the hill

seriously, though, ps1 is old even if it didn't leave Japan till '95. that's only ten years older than NES..

*feels sudden aching in bones*

11 years
the famicom was released in 83
the ps1 in 94

....it boggles my mind just how fast video gaming evolved in the 90's

you're right about that; it's also true they didn't leave Japanese shores until '85 and '95, respectively. i.e., NA & EU didn't see them until at least then.

what was the biggest single change do you think
I may have missed it for the polygons
stabbing my eyes
analouge control
competent 3D controls and camera
depth and a solid world

mario 64 in other words

it was a game changer when nintendo still had its head screwed on

sure there were 3D games before mario 64 but none of them were as competent as mario 64
most were of bubsy 3D level
and just look at that monstrosity

it was even released in the same damn year as mario 64

cd consoles with 650 mb of space and the speed and horse power to push polygones around also helped a lot
( ie the ps 1 )
