tfishell: I think the id FPSes, though I still wish the Heretic/Hexen 9.99 bundle was here already.

InfraSuperman: I'd hope they release them separately, if only for the possibility that at least Hexen won't have to be regionlocked. They're both unavailable to Germans on Steam, and while that makes a modicum of sense for Heretic, since it's on the "index", Germany never restricted the sale of Hexen. Or, at least I can't find any evidence that it was ever blacklisted or banned.
Mmmm, okay.
Quite an impressive list, for a single year. And here people dare complain that GOG doesn't release "good old games" any more.

R8V9F5A2: My definition of a 'classic' is quite generous and covers games up to 2010....or was it 2005 ? I don't remember...I've already had a few Christmas beers when I decided to do this thing...'yes' Christmas beer is a thing in Sweden.
I don't know where the line is exactly drawn but personally I don't see why any game released after 2010 (2005?) should warrant the title 'classic'.
Meh, old =/= good, so age is probably not the most defining characteristic of a true classic.

Anyhow, my favorite "old-school" game of this year might actually be Underrail. Yeah, yeah... I know. But if one didn't know the release year, it would be easy to mistake it for a re-released classic. Besides, I hear it's actually been in development since back in 2008, so I guess that does make it old... ish.
I was incredibly pleased to see the arrival of Loom and The Dig. The more LucasArts games, the better.
Dark Sun games, Al-Qadin, Ravenloft duo and Menzoberranzan!
What a year!
It's so hard to choose :P I've played through Quake 2 again every few years, but it has gotten more difficult to get it running without problems on newer OSes. I also never owned any of the expansion packs. GOG fixed all this :D

It was also quite nice to play through Star Wars: Dark Forces for the first time. The soundtrack, the great level design, the awesome weapons, and of course the Star Wars-setting. It was an epic journey from start to finish.

Hm, that's a pretty tricky question. I have to admit that seeing Terra Nova or System Shock: Enhanced Edition were big surprises, along with a number of Star Wars games (especially Star Wars: Republic Commando). I was also very surprised by Bethesda's debut this year, but would appreciate Doom 3 and Quake 4.

But, I think that the best classic game for me was F.E.A.R. Platinum. This release got me to complete the main game, along with its two expansion packs, which I had a lot of fun with. It did feel a bit repetitious near the end, but It think it was because I played all three relatively close to one another.
Not enough Dark Sun in everyones choices >:{
It's hard to choose one title, but my vote goes on Warhammer 40k: Rites of War. And it's rather not only on this one game, but whole WH40k "set". For me it was such big milestone as for many GOG users were releases of both System Shock games. Not to mention that seeing DRM-free games licensed by Games Workshop is a big deal. Not to mention, that getting titles back from the death is one of the greatest achivement of GOG, these "exclusives" are for me the biggest and the greatest thing we can find here. And they're from second half of 90', which is one of my two favourite periods in gaming history (at least in case of PC).
Since we still havent gotten Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines Ill go with Morrowind. :)
As an Android gamer mostly, I will answer this question regarding Android releases.

Syberia 2 is the my classic release of the year. I spent quite a bit of time on it, and hopefully will finish it soon. The only other classic that I bought which was released this year is Tomb Raider 2.
I was very, very happy to see on GOG the following:

Galactic Battlegrounds
F.E.A.R
System Shock
Jedi Outcast
Morrowind
Crusader Kings (and i hope we are but a step away from getting Crusader Kings II on GOG).

Now, if I were to choose one game for "GOG of the Year 2015", that would definitely be System Shock.
I love me some classic DooM (Hell on Earth being the first game I'd ever beaten in my life).
For me, it's Lula The Sexy Empire ! A huge surprise to see it here and a very entertaining game...
Wow there were so many huge ones this year. Hands done, TIE Fighter is the game I most wanted to see here and get my grubby little hands on once more. But the return of the Fallout games was also right up there near the top.

Other mentions go to, in no particular order...

Starfleet Command (well, okay this is probably the first of the second tier of games and another one I really wanted to arrive)

All the other Star Trek games as well as the Lovecraft Series (though the Lovecraft ones are probably a bit toward the bottom of my list - I'm more happy that they showed up and there's now a place for them rather than ecstatic and drooling to have them).

And I'm not sure if they count as classic just yet, but having the X series here is great, as is Fallen Enchantress (a game I've wanted to play for YEARS and now I finally can!).

Honorable mention goes to the Gold Box games. Because I personally don't have any particular desire or love for them I don't have them high on my list, but simply for their place in gaming this was a HUGE release.
