Irregular's BUMP
I will enter for Hotline Miami, thanks.

To answer Question 3 - No, I have no experience in a research field.

That was easy so I think I will try another. Question 1 - I was playing Goldeneye against a friend who was somewhat better than me in a one-shot-kills game mode. He was directly above me on a higher level looking down through a hole in the floor to where I was, and I saw his toe sticking out and sniped it, killing him.
I'm in for the $9.99 GOG prize, thanks!

4) I would like to see Revenant here because when it first came out I played it with 2 of my friends (we were on the same save file) but never finished it for whatever reason, not to mention probably missed some of the content due to the way we played it.
As for a newer game - GTA IV without GFWL and SecuROM cancer would be absolutely fantastic (well all the GTA games would be great additions to the gog catalogue anyway).

Edit: Totally misread question 4) but I'm leaving what I wrote anyway.
Classic - System Shock 2; new - Hotline Miami

Hope there's still time to jump in! Thanks and +1 for the giveaway. :)

I'm entering for a $9.99 game.

4) In terms of releases this year, System Shock 2 was easily the best classic release. One of the greatest PC games ever made not to mention a long, long wait of wondering whether it was even possible to get the rights to the game. One of GOG's landmark accomplishments!

A new release that excited me was The Night of the Rabbit. It looks like yet another great Daedalic game. I love how they have kept true to the roots of classic point and click adventure gaming. Beautiful 2D hand drawn animation, great storytelling, and nice use of humor in their games.
Okay.. I would like to enter for the HIB...
Why? Well.. because they don't accept my money (not that I have a lot, but anyway.. ;p)
Paypal only accept international CC and mine isn't working for quite some time already.. (I guess they accept also a few private banks, which I don't have an account... ¬¬').
So, I'm unable to buy from them since the THQ bundle (or was it HIB 7?)..

Thank you JMich, and congratulations on your almost 1k rep! (and please, stop thieving the release threads!)

4) Classic, System Shock 2 (but, who wasn't? so, it doesn't counts) also Blade of Darkness.. that's a pretty damn good game!.. about a new release, I'm not sure...
I'll see about the other questions.. ;p

(also, if this message disappear again, I'll give up... :/)

List updated again.
I'll enter for the 2 GOG codes, thanks.

1) Let's see...the greatest fail moment I had recently was that I threw a grenade at myself in Killing Floor. The damned thing missed the door and hit me in the face >.<

2) None. I prefer the control schemes we have now.

3) No.

4) What do you mean by one classic and one new? I don't really understand. Anyway, I was pretty hyped over Undying and SS2.

5) I was not aware there was a GOG wiki. Not sure what I would improve; it seems ok to me.

Congrats on your 1k rep! :)

Sunday Bump. Rep gain seems to have slowed, so unsure if this will end tomorrow or not. Added CthuluIsSpy to the list as well.

Well, I just did my bit for God and Country. Good luck

(not in, by the way)
congrats on the 1000 rep JMich!

count me in for:
$9.99 GOG bonus codes.

1) Tell me of an "Oh God, how did I fail that bad" or "In your face!" experience you had in an FPS game.
- i was playing Day of Defeat on a friends account years ago. some dude (i think named "Mr Foo" or something like that) was camping on the map and launching rockets from a blind location. after watching a few DoD pros run past me and get blasted i launched a rocket through a 2nd/3rd story window and killed Mr Foo. i would totally have forgotten it if it wasnt for all the hilarious cursing that it spawned.
i dual pistol head shotted some dude with better weapons on a beach/around some tunnels later that day as well. his weapon was a 1 shot kill, i had to unload multiple shots in his face before he went down. hilarious ^_^

4) One classic and one new release on GOG that really excited you, and why?
- Larrys - all the different adventure throughout all the gaming prime time thus far; new 'to GOG' Sierra greatness.
- Primordia - loved the art style and had just played gemini rue, had high hopes and they werent dashed, but i beat the game too quickly >_< and wanted to explore more areas that werent part of the game, but i thought they would be based on the storyline through in-game play.

5) Do you know about the GOGWiki? Why haven't you been active there yet?
- sort of. dont want to use any app/script/scanning. can one manually make edits without them? (didnt really explore it too much, then forgot about it til i saw the thread again >_<)

thanks for a giveaway JMich and congrats again on the 1k rep!
keep using the magic and finding out whats going to be popping up on GOG ahead of time ^_^
+1
Count me in for the $10 GOG.

Would you believe that I initially answered every single question, but then lost the entire post because my account logged out between bringing up the post window and hitting the post message button? I fucking hate it when that happens.

The only thing that requires an extra script is synching your GOG collection with the wiki. Everything else can be manually editted, though some are easier than others. The script needed for the synching though adds quite a few other improvements, including a quick post option, better highlighting of quotes etc. Well worth taking a look either way.

Yes. That is why we suggest to type the post in notepad before posting it, especially for the mafia games. No worries though.

I usually ctrl+c what I've written before I hit post. However, my genius brain decided that this one time would be the perfect time to forget about that little precaution.
In for a GOG code.
Thanks a lot for the giveaway, JMich and congratulations!

1) I remember playing Call of Duty 2 against a friend over LAN about 5 years ago. I died 20 times in a row. It really wasn't my day. :D
2) I can't think of anything. I've been doing most of my PC gaming with the keyboard/mouse combo for years, but I am thinking of getting a PC for the living room, so XBOX 360 controller support for some GOG classics would be nice. Not what you were asking, though.
3) Not really.
4) Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail. The first LSL game I played (just a few years ago, btw). I can't believe it took so long to get here. From the new games, I'd say Strike Suit Zero. I haven't bought it yet, because it wouldn't run on my PC, but I'm really glad we have something like that here. I hope GOG establishes a system that would accommodate the missing extras.
5) GOGWiki is awesome. I like the info on censored or removed games. I guess I could go through the forums, find ways to bypass the censorship and then update the GOGWiki entries.
Entering for one of the Gog bonus codes.

Two of the instabuys to me on gog, were for one side, the Fallout saga, and fotr the "newer" releases, The Bard's Tale. Was one of the best news I've had from here.

Also, I HATE WASD. ARROWS forever!

Thanks!
