The ultimate collection of amusement park business ups and downs!

RollerCoaster Tycoon Series turns 15 today! We invite you to celebrate the occasion with our special anniversary promo. The collection of all three great amusement park management games that let you create the rides you always dreamed about, is available for only $8.17 total for the next 48 hours. You can also get the games separately with up to 80% off.

Where's entertainment for the masses, there's massive income for a skilled entrepreneur. Amusement park is an automated money maker for a businessman who understands what it's all about. Build an "EST" ride--one that's either the fastEST, highEST, longEST, scariEST, craziEST, or any other possible "EST"--and the people will come running to experience the "EST" moment in their lives. As long as you come up with original ways to rattle and shake people, there's plenty of loose change that'll surely drop out of their pockets. Make them scream with terror or yell with joy and they'll get sore throat and be happy to pay you five bucks for a medium soda. You'll need a rake to handle the cash. But here's a secret: this isn't about money. If you'll go into the business with only the cash in mind, you will fail. It's all about letting your inner child finally build the playground of their dreams. Do that. People will love it.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Series is a brilliant lineup of managerial games that let you design and run your very own amusement park complete with custom rides and various other attractions. The more money you make, the bigger your budget gets, and the more technically advanced and extravagant rides you get to build. The economic part of all of the games is consistently challenging and deep, while the theme park development options are getting more robust and varied with every game. Creating a perfect mix of serious business simulation with the sheer joy of riding the rides you design, this great collection will provide you with many hours of pure fun!

Get your roller coaster business on track with RollerCoaster Tycoon Series for a small investment of only $8.17. You can also get Rollercoaster Tycoon 1,2, and 3 for $1.19, $1.99, and $4.99 respectively. The offer lasts until until Wednesday, April 2, at 9:59AM GMT.
Great bargain, everyone should play these.

RayRay13000: Don't have much to say, but RCT1 and 2 for $3 is a steal. But...

Missed it . ( RCT 3 )

:(
Great promo, sadly, I already own them all. +1 for GOG.
15 years. That was fast.
Hey folks.

Got a question here.

say, if you're not familiar with the genre do the games provide enough "fun" or is it just a menu-hustle ??

I think it looks pretty fun building that stuff but does it get into to much factor-XY-detail to accomplish or can you have fun with it ??

and I checked reviews and saw you're able to put your own music on the coasters (part1)
- does that count for 2 and 3 as well ?? Also 1&2 get the best reviews and I can't decide or is 2 just improved 1 ??? .... oO

At least - - - wich one ? 1,2,3 or all ?? :P

Cheers,
CoYotE
Had the retail copy of RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. Never did get into it like I did Sims Theme Park. I am glad that it has a big following though and I am tempted to play it again.
Pity that one can only buy a game for the first time once. :-(

Got all three, have yet to play 3, but have enjoyed playing 1 and 2.

For those wondering I only play them casually. One could try to min-max various values but that is only for the die-hards. It is possible to play and enjoy these games casually as well.
I find it a funny coincidence that I just picked up playing RCT1 again on Sunday. I just needed something relaxing to play after my move into my new residence (which currently doesn't have internet access until I'll get that set up).

Isn't it the whole point of these game to be for more casual play? I very much like that it's fairly easy to stay in the black and earn a good profit after the initial expansion of a park. After all, it's all about making a fun park to me, not the most efficient. ;) These are certainly not for 'hardcore' gamers.

Anyway, riding my own coasters/rides in part 3 never gets old. :)
I hope RCT3 will be on sale again later in this year .
Wonderful promo. Was missing RCT 2, so picked it up.

Gonna have to skip RCT 3 for now, as I'm low on cash. It's well worth the $5 though, it's the best game in the series.

True true... I just recalled picking up here and there folks who try to design coasters that min/max some value or other; that is way too hard-core for me. I just like to relax and treat it like a coaster park in a SimCity-ish way :-)

And that is one aspect of RCT3 I look forward to - riding my own rides at last! But before doing that and in an attempt to manage my short attention span, I want to at least finish the scenarios of both RCT1 and RCT2 first.
