I finally got round to grabbing a 3DS. It's pretty cool.

Nope but I'm getting one just for Zelda, did that for the 64 and Wii too.

I bought one on release day because it was on a interesting sale... but since it has been gathering dust...

IMHO the 3D is a puke inducing gimmick, while the effect is nice I definitely don't see myself doing any serious gaming on it, I guess I will probably keep it disabled 99% of the time. Also I have yet to find a single 3DS game that really interest me on it and I already have a DSi XL which is much better to play NDS games.

Yes I have one.
I have Lego Star Wars and Ghost Recon on it so far. Although I basically did get it for Ocarina of Time, only because it's going to take some time for other titles to come out on it.

my roommate has one, and it seems pretty neat.

my eyes are pretty bad, though, and I have to turn the 3-D waaaay down or else I start seeing double. seems like a really cool idea, it's too bad i can't fully enjoy it :\

I plan on getting one eventually, but right now the price is a little too heavy for my wallet.
Not to mention, knowing Nintendo, there'll be a 3DSi or a 3DSLite or something anyway, so I might as well just wait till then.

I'm not interested (I already have a DS lite) but few weeks ago I finally had an opportunity to try it with Pilot Wings. Technically speaking, the 3DS is impressive. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful and immersible 3D.

I have good eyes, but the 3D bothered me after 10 minutes. I had to turn it off.

I played with one at target the other day, at first I was all "ehh, this is kinda underwhelming" but after playing with the 3D slider a little bit I was all "this is kinda cool" then I stopped playing with it and turned around to leave ...

damn near fell flat on my ass and I had to stagger out of the electronics section like I was drunk.

end verdict is two words: not buying.
