During my current search for gaming sites worth watching, I found this in-depth interview with Jane Jensen on Destructoid.

It's really worth watching (imho) if you're interested in Jane Jensen, her games, and a peek behind the curtain. Jane Jensen is usually very reluctant to do such interviews, especially when the focus is on her personally and not so much on promoting a given game. The interviewer also does a pretty good job digging out her thoughts and feelings at various crucial points in her career.

Comments are welcome, including ones about Destructoid and the interviewer. Is that their usual level of quality?
too late, but you really should have mentioned what games she created. I've never heard of her, but I have heard of the Gabriel Knight games.
Thanks for digging this interview, mate.
Very interesting. Thank you for posting this. +1

Jane Jensen on how Doom killed Adventure games
Haven't listened to the interview yet, but that headline annoys me to no end. This very notion has been debunked 14 years ago!

Now, I'm a big fan of Jensen's work, I think that GK1 is one of the very few Sierra adventures that truly held up (and is quite possibly the best of the lot). But whenever adventure game fans/creators blame Doom for the downfall of their beloved genre, it rubs me the wrong way.

Anyway, I'm off to listen to the interview, I sincerely hope that it will put the outlandish claim made in the headline into a more proper context.
