I am very sorry to bother guys , this is my 1st time purchasing on GOG , i tried to read here and there but i am still confused:

1.How many times can i download a game
2.The game stays in my PC as an exe?
3.I Bought The Witcher and The witcher 2 , for The Witcher 2 i have a code , for The Witcher (still downloading) i dunno where the code is lol
4.Do i need to register that code somewhere before some pirate gets lucky and uses it?
5.Is there a way to change my user name?
6.How does the game update works , do i need some GOG executable?
7.Is Steam required or is another different thing? (told you i am a noob sorry :( )

Ty very much in advance and please excuse my english :)

1. Infinite or as long as gog.com exists
2. If you wish. Can be backed up or deleted
3. GOG games do not require a serial key to install or play single-player though for some games with online multiplayer, GOG will e-mail you a serial key for online play.

Witcher 2 provides a serial key for access to future patches and dlc.

4. Yes you register on CDP Red's website after launch.
5. Doubtful
6. For Witcher 2 you will launch the updater from within the game. I imagine you login to your account you registered your key on and the patches get downloaded. Your Witcher 2 install is not verified or authenticated, only the key you registered on their site is. No additional authentication files are ever installed on your machine.
7. Steam is never to be spoken about on this site. Just kidding. No affiliation with steam exists or will ever exist with relation to GOG and its games.

Kabuto: 5. Doubtful
5. Definitely not, the GOG guys have stated many times in the past that they do not have the means to change usernames.

3) addendum, a few multiplayer titles may still have CD key code in there and GOG will provide a legit one on request if you need it (e.g. Unreal Tournament 2004). You'll only need one, generally, to play on old, official servers.
I see guys ty very much , shame about the user name , everything else looks awesome :)

A friend made the account , the mail is correct but he messed up and used his store as user name lol , i guess i will be therpgstore :/

Ty again case solved :)
