Vestin: Fun read, but I must snip

To be fair, I didn't mean to go there. The thread theory (infinite universes, intertwined and self repairing...), the butterfly effect (sure as hell no one knows what that exactly is, all agree it's most likely a crappy movie), general relativity and black holes... sorry, but not today :)

Go read a few Stephen Hawking's articles on time travel. If you like this, you'll "love" that.

Is it good, backed up by facts about physics, mathematical equations and stuff like that? Or just a theory / an idea kind of thing?

Here's the headliner, if you want to google it:
STEPHEN HAWKING: How to build a time machine
All you need is a wormhole, the Large Hadron Collider or a rocket that goes really, really fast.
You decide.

Titanium: Hold on there, this is now a fact? It was said by one guy that was raising money for his theoretical time machine, and gave no proof whatsoever.
The thing with time relativism, the "higher speed - slowing time " thing, was in fact proven (two really good clocks, one on earth, the other in a space capsule, and then compared the times).
The only reason that you can't go back into the past, if you had a "working" time machine, is that you could create a time paradox, like kill yourself actively or passively trough your actions. In that way, your "future" would not exist, or making an alternate universe.

The creation of a Paradox doesn't actually mean TT is impossible the main current theory is that any working time machine would actually prevent you from changing the outcome in some way (the guy you shoot wasn't your real GF etc)
But yes the no travel to before its made is the only theory that works right now (though theres a new quantum approach that requires quantum events to be non-linear), relativity is still a theory btw as is evolution they are not proven just meet the facts better than any other idea out there.

So the universe is really governed by a peculiar Game Master who goes "No, no - what REALLY happened was..." when you screw something up ? AWESOME :D !
Looks great. I wanted to buy The Whispered World but it has DRM on it; I suppose this will be the same as well. I wish they would make games DRM free so more people might buy their product.

don't know about the Impulse version ( it's not listed on the store page )

Relativity was proven, actually.
They put a clock on an jet-propelled, fixed-wing aircraft commonly called an aeroplane, and they left one stationary. According to the one on the plane, less time elapsed.
Now these were nuclear clocks, and as such were rather accurate, and the difference was enough to not be error.

nope sorry that only proved one of its predictions same as gravity lensing and its ability to predict the position of mercury they just show its the most accurate theory available right now.

In other words - it shows WHAT happens, not explains WHY it happens.
Demo released .
