Yesterday I took advantage of the sale and bought five games. I then realized this was the first time I had bought a game from GOG in about three-and-a-half years. Everything else was either gifted or bought by my brother. So I'm sorry, GOG, for being a cheapskate this long.
You are forgiven. Now be quick and buy loads of games (say, a couple gross) to make up for all you haven't been buying throughout the last three-and-a-half years.
we appreciate your honesty, no 20 laps around the forum please :p
awesome that your gaming needs are fulfilled via other channels! :D
It was the first time I bought a game since May 30 2012, when I bought Tex Murphy: The Pandora Directive. Since then I got GOG games (excluding free ones) from kickstarter, bundles, developer's site (via the Humble Store), Steam (The Witcher) and a giveaway gift. Quite similar to how I get Steam games.
Before I knew about GOG I bought certain games on Steam. On super sales, I sometimes rebuy the game on GOG and uninstall the steam version. Now that I understand what Steams about I try not to buy from them unless I have to. I don't do it with all games mind you. Stuff that gets constant patching like Borderlands 2 and Warframe I'll play on steam, but most single player or not patched frequently games I'll get on GOG for the lack of DRM.

Is your brother free to buy me games now that you are buying your own games?
/not serious
I don't know if we'll let you go that easily... To make up for your ill will you must now buy ten additional $9.99 games at full price!
The power of Keane compels you.
You can always make up by buying The Witcher 3 copies as gifts for all of us...
