Three hours in, and still on the starting floor... Me freaking likes! :D Is it getting even better?

Wait until you get out of the building and into the town areas.......and you get to start picking and choosing missions and classes and such.

I like the various items you find along the way and things you can do with them as you play as well.

Assuming I spent the whole first three hours just exploring everything in just the starting floor... will I be in for a long run? Few hundred hours of gaming, perhaps?

Ah, but that's far, far down the road. ;)

Anyway, who would have the guts to throw away his own entrails? ;)

Probably.

Keep everything you find in the starting floor for use later(weapons/healing stuff/etc)....i.e. pick up stuff and talk to NPCs to see if they can use it or you can use it on them somehow.

Also examine everything after picking up other things(some stuff you find in some areas can be used in encounters with other NPCs later.....scalpel at start, for instance, can be used if you talk to some of the patrolling zombies in the beginning part.)

Also if an NPC like patrolling zombie seems to have nothing special about it and you've exhausted all posible dialog/inventory interactions feel free to kill em for experience and coin.

And be sure to explore whole building and do everything before going out.....it's best to do it that way imo. Once you go out you may forget to go back if you wish to....the outisde is THAT big and impressive.

Great! Between making my undergraduate thesis / final project, and playing PS:T, I guess I'm full for the first half of 2012.

New gamez, go to hell! (exzceptz for teh D3 and SC2's exp)

I hope you gave the nameless one high intelligence so he can ask lots of things to everyone he meets. ;)

Was just going to ask that. Thanks for the reply!

Btw, I usually play a rogue-like character, which class is the best to go with for this game?

Are we seeing Heart Of Tthe Swarm this year? Given the predicted date of SC2 was 2007, I'm not betting on it.

No idea, but I'm not buying any games except for those, no matter when they are released. PS:T, STALKER, TW, and many more games are just resting in the backlog waiting to be finished! :)

Yeah many of the patrolling zombies will usually be just dialog trees but some have odd things about them(odd stitching or the like) which mean you can use an inventory item on them later(scalpel on stitchings, puzzle pieces on puzzle piece markings, etc) so don't kill them until you do that thing with them when you get the right item. Then feel free to kill them.

As for best class a warrior/mage seems cool. You can be basic fighter/priest/mage/etc depending on how you play and talking to certain people in-game(party members and NPCs) a certain way. You start as default fighter though so just equip bashing arm or scalpel to start with and use that and skull pal's bite attack to keep enemies at bay....shouldn't be many in the starting areas though.

Is it true that you need to basically pump all your stat points into Wisdom to get the best dialog options?

Not trying to knock the game down or anything. Just asking.
