An odd place to ask this, but as I new user I wasn't sure where else...
If I pick a new avatar picture, it goes to locations of my computer - if I grab the image from there does it become my avatar, or do I have to upload it somewhere first? As an example, loading a new avatar shows my desktop as the initial location; will GOG upload what I click on, or do I have to make sure that the location of any image is on some generic storage site (photobucket, image shack, etc etc)

Thanks for the response wpegg - wow this place keeps getting better and better (wasn't eager to make a third party account to get a pic, but now why the heck not!)
