Is there any way to get a functioning copy of the game?

For those not familiar with it, it was a card game in Might and Magic 7/8 that was made into a stand-alone game.

I added it to the wishlist.
I didn't even know that it was sold separately.

Aren't there freeware versions? I remember an ant-themed one that I saw many years ago.

I remember that I tried looking once and couldn't get whatever it was that I downloaded to work.

Then again, I am fairly terrible at downloading things
I have a copy but for the life of me I can not remember where I got it. Plays fine on my Vista 64 box in compatibility mode.
How about this?

Awesome! It's probably not EXACTLY like the original, but good enough!

Thanks a lot!

Do other people play it?

I haven't tried it out, but I've been meaning to sometime. I'm not sure if others have tried out this particular version or not.
Not familiar with the game (I have not played any of the M&M games at all, they are still at my backlog), but I remember there was a previous thread on Acromage in which someone posted about Hubris:

The thread I am talking about is this:

If the multiplayer works (?) there should definitely be a GOG battle ladder.

Some digging appears to be in order.
Well hello, my old addiction. I think I ended up playing this minigame more than MM7 itself.
