taczillabr: Nice little promo, two famous strategy series.
And why there isn't an official news post or e-mail on that paypal promo? How most people will notice the subtlety of that banner?

The Paypal promo needs a more catchy slogan. Paypal promo? A headline that actually describes the content? There can't have been any marketing people involved in this.
I suggest that the slogan should be: Now you will pay.

I'm tempted but not convinced. I already have Civ4 complete and have Civ5 coming in just a couple of weeks. Any reason to pick this up as well?
Nice, CtP2 supports even 1920x1080. Quite good promo, because I love Caesar and I have never played anything related to Civilization.
<Rondelek's_Wallet> Bastards!!!
I will buy all of them. Thank you Gog!
This is a great promo (although I have both on CD). Maybe CTP2 is not as good as Civilization series, it's still an interesting Turn based strategy.
But one question: if someone bought one of the games earlier, and now buys the other, they will still participate in the lottery, won't they?
As someone who played every single Civilization game and derivative starting with the original Civilization for DOS, I would say that Call to Power is... different.
Not necessarily better or worse than Sid's, mind. But I find it refreshing to experience a different take on the genera.
In any case, I believe it's certainly worth the money for any Civilization lover. Even without the promo. That said, I was actually unaware that CtP was on GOG at all and have just bought it with the promo ;)
In other news, I now have slightly more than 52% of the entire GOG catalog. The percentage seems to increase every weekend for some poorly explored and inadequately understood reason... ;)

Nice slogan, but I always do pay, anyway. And paypal always bites some of it...
Of course marketing people are involved, I just suggested to spread this more through the webz.
Oh, hell, bought them. Curiosity is indeed a bitch. Let's hope I find time to play them.

Good decision :-).
And yes, let's hope you can also play them; if you're keen on their respective genres, you won't be disappointed. Caesar 3 is still one of the best city builders around (and I say it's better than 4, too), and CtP2, while certainly not a Civ (it doesn't even try to be one), is a very solid 4X game.
Wish I could, but can't say no to this xD
Ceasar was one of the first games I played, I just hope I won't suck as much on it 10 years later :)
Bump.
Where's the list of the 10 winners? Thanks.

GOG.com: If that's not enough, we'll pick 10 users who bought the bundle (during or before the promo) and award them with a free GOG game of their choice! Get ready, set, go!
Waitin'...

an' waitin'...
Bump in case they forgot the draw with all the dying and stuff.
Bumping for the sake of knowledge! Show me the Winners, GOG! XD
another bump ^^
