Thank you very much, Vorax. Now, I no longer feel compelled to mail the physical texts to GOG.com to remedy the situation. Although I still might, if they're missing any of the documentation.

No probs, enjoy! If you're looking for a manual, it's worth checking out replacementdocs to see if they have it. Some of the manuals downloadable from GOG are from there too.

Thanks, GOG, the soundtrack is a nice bonus. But the most important thing is the manual, and that is still missing...

I wonder why these games (or JA: Deadly Games, for that matter) lack the manual to begin with.
I can hardly imagine the publishers deny them the right to bundle the manual with the game. Maybe they scan them themselves to avoid using the ReplacementDocs ones (which they used to do earlier, but don't do anymore), and found no time to scan these games' manuals yet?

Especially DG, i never figures out what is what in the editor. ;)

how hard is it for the whole gog team to find manuals for the games they release? It concerns me that gog cannot take the time to do this for their members.

It isn't exactly a wide-spread problem; it seems rather sporadic, so to say.
Most games have manuals to go with them, only a few lack one.

It's not always a matter of finding them. It's a matter of having the right to include them. After all, if GOG didn't care about such rights then there would be a lot more games on here than there are.

If that is the case then why would any game not come with manual? would it not be prudent to include it to complete the experience. when the game first came out there was a manual included so why not now? do the people who give out the rights to publish the games state that no manual included??? especially in aow the manual is needed and completes the experience in any game.
Get the manuals already.
Age of Wonder´s soundtrack is one of the best ever made
