I insist that you take the game. You've never got a game from Stoic before while I won the Murder Mystery game. Also, I agree with you about taking the quest instead of the gold. We'll be a level up on the others : )

Go for it, I was going to pass anyways once I was forced to win. I'm playing this for the game itself, and the in-game prizes, not for the GOG you offer. :)

I'm never one to pass up on a free game, but I honestly believe that Sielle deserves it. He's never won a game from you (that I know of) and he has led the team to 2 victories. If you want to have another contest for the game that's cool with me too.

Yes.

I would say select a subclass first, if you want one (remember you can retain your original class, it will give you more flexibility. The subclasses give you a more targeted approach, but less flexibility.) Subclasses can modify the costs for stats and skills, so it's important to figure out if you want one or not before gaining a level.

To get an idea of their skills, (Rogue, Spy, Assassin, Trickster):

Additionally, there are slight weapon modifiers [/url]for each class. They won't mean much of anything in the long run, just small boosts:

Warrior: none
Ranger: +2 ranged, -2 non-ranged
Knight: +2 one-handed weapons, -2 two-handed weapons.
Berserker: +1 sharp, -1 non-sharp
Mage: none
Shaman: +1 ranged, -1 non-ranged
Cleric: +2 blunt, -2 non-blunt
Sage: +1 blunt
Rogue: none
Assassin: +1 ranged, -1 blunt
