Weird... It only takes me about an hour to install the OS, Drivers, and Applications I use...
I live by (inflicted upon me) the motto that life was not meant to be easy, so I would like to see that! If only too point at your computer, look up and shout at the Universe, "see, that is how it is supposed to happen".
I found this seller on Ebay, their systems look good?

or even this one?

If you know how to build a PC yourself, build it yourself... You said it yourself that you live by "life was not meant to be easy" and I agree with you. If you want help picking parts that go well with each other I will help you with that, no problem. =)

And yeah it really does only take me about an hour to install Windows 7 plus the Updates and my Apps. Though, I have 2 SSDs and a 10.00 MBs connection... (as in I download at 10.00 MB a second, or whatever... I have FIOS 75/35)

If I had some way to record myself doing all that stuff I would... I think I have reformatted AT LEAST ~300 times... and that's really no joke!

I have it down to a routine... lol

Here's my PC, if you're interested.

Thanks for the reply,

As for installing software, that is not really of much concern to me. The main obstacle to building/buying my own system is price, and not being up to date with technology. I don't know how tell which parts go well together either, that sounds more like a trial and error thing.

You have reformatted 300 times?? different machines i assume, otherwise what can i say, you definitely have too much spare time! The guy who taught me all i know about computers, he knew his OS serial code off memory!! That's going back around 25 years now! (windows 95 was new) people used to take advantage of him allot, it was fine while he had the energy of youth, but as time went by it wore pretty thin. I still see the windows 98 period as the golden years of pc gaming (hence my membership on this site) - before the evils of oppressive DRM had begun to bite.... and my biggest regret is that gamers grudgingly accepted games with increasingly oppressive DRM instead of rejecting them outright which was my personal policy, and now were stuck with it. All i can say to that is "which way to the nearest shop selling consoles???"

Don't buy a PC, buy the parts instead.
