You won't get the game if it doesn't reach 10m, and your $1 will go to charity. And most likely it's gonna be like this. I mean even if they were giving away it for free, there wouldn't be 10m ppl to download it probably.

Yeah I just got the e-mail after ordering, and that's what it stated. It's only 1 dollar lost to charity though, so that isn't bad.

It'd have been cool if they had set the limit 1 million, 10 m is kinda overkill. :)

Publicity stunt. They could have at least given a 10% discount to people who pre-order, if the goal is not reached (and it won't be). As it stands right now you get zero discount for pre-orders. And while it's nice to give to charity everyone can do that on their own and give a little to their preferred charity rather than giving to an unknown charity (afaik they didn't mention yet exactly where the money will go)
