2012 is has been an age of wonders for GOG.com with so many great games coming to our catalogue already, so this weekend’s sale seems more than appropriate.

The sale this weekend may have a small number of games, but it is certainly chock-full of gameplay: [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/age_of_wonders_series]Age of Wonders I, II & III, the three games from one of the most famous and successful turn-based strategy series, are now 50% off for the rest of this weekend.

Age of Wonders in 1999 marked the beginning of a blood-drenched conflict between magical races, when humans destroy the fragile equilibrium that existed among Elves, Goblins, Undead, Orcs, Dwarves, and other magical races. Several elements combined to make the first game so successful: detailed depictions of mythical creatures; mixing empire building, role-playing, and warfare; and creating over 50 upgradeable heroes who could wield a lethal array of weapons. Age of Wonder is only $2.99 this weekend on GOG.com.

Age of Wonders II: the Wizards Throne continues the story of neverdying war between fantasy races with over 130 unique units such as steam cannons, airships, and mammoth riders. AoEII features well-polished 2D graphics as well as many more spells and campaign scenarios full of intrigue, action, and suspense. Age of Wonders II: the Wizards Throne is only $4.99 on GOG.com until Monday, February 20th at 11.59 a.m. EDT.

In Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic, two new bloodthirsty forces enter the world of AoE: corrupt Empire led by Phobius, and hellish demons, that breed within the Shadows. The third and final installment in the series features new races, new units, better graphics and AI, and completely new Shadow world introduced in the main campaign’s story.

Additionally, all Age of Wonders games come with map and campaign editors and multiplayer mode. Once you get into those, you’ll find there’s not enough hours in the day without some sort of wizardry. We’re no wizards, but this weekend’s offer is magical. Visit the promo page and buy the complete Age of Wonders trilogy for 50% off this weekend only

Nice, you own all games from this promo. Have fun and don't forget to check out our next offer.

Great games, get 'em!
Nice promo, but have them all already on GOG
Which one should I buy?

Shadow Magic or The Wizards Throne?
If you can only get one... is Shadow Magic the one to get?

GOG.com: <strike>beautiful friendship</strike>
<strike>neverending friendship</strike>
<strike>friendly entities</strike>
I'd have thought the web editor would have better knowledge of what text formatting the forum supports. Or that the publishing platform would automagically translate between newspost-mode and forumpost-mode.
Hey this is nice! I heard this series should be close to Heroes of Might and Magic (my all-time favourite game-series). Even though I never had a chance to try any of these games I heard really good things about them. I will have to skip... again... but I am glad more people can enjoy them now! :)
