This is supposedly a real-time tech demo of the XBox 720 or Playstation 4. It almost looks like real.

That'd be a huge step forward in graphics again.
I don't buy it.
sidebar: Can we collectively stop calling it the XBox 720 until Microsoft actually confirms it will use such an atrocious name?

OT: PhoenixWright beat me to it.

The list of whats likely precooked in that is so long you wouldn't believe it... I expect something closer to Watchdogs (the demo version was on pc) for the next gen. Agni was running on a 6GPU system according to one report

Yeah, the system is what is important, and it sure as hell wasn't representative of what the next-gen consoles will contain.
Brown people with guns as an enemy. I'm compelled.
What this demo told me is that with the next generation of consoles, developers will discover particle effects for the first time and immediately proceed to abuse the crap out of them.

I have heard it will be the Xbox 1080p.

Also, there is no need for graphics to get any higher. The logical thing to do is extend console generations to 10-15 years at least, and make incremental updates, ala Kinect. Everybody wins this way, as the PC gaming industry can finally let players catch up then as well.

Graphics are as good as they need to be, and by harnessing the power of the Bluray disc's capacity, there shouldn't be anything videogame wise that can be conceived of but not realized. What more do we need?
