Great! Check out the main roleplaying thread (link is above) and join in!

We'll start discussing potential battles, quests, etc. soon.
I made a short intro post with some details about Dorevs goal, origins, personality and physical description. It's not much for the moment, but more information will come.
By the way, what races exist in this world? Is everyone human, or are there elves, dwarves, etc? And how common are they?

Humans are the most prevalent.

There are Gobblers (equivalent to goblins, roughly)

Nog (tiny and frail forest dwelling creatures with whiskers and an innate magical quality)

Quenhali (Lizardfolk)

Reons (Dwarves)

Vasar (Tall and slender, gray-skinned nomads, mostly in the Grand Desert of Quesar)

Beyond that, we can add races as requested.

On the map, "Cioll ____" are Gobbler settlements.

Quenhali settlements are in this form: "Biya R'Zala". "Endurse M'Koof, "Molkoa V'Biiom" etc.

The Reons are mostly in the mountains to the West.

Nogs live in settlements that are worded as such ____ Village (e.g. Duke Village)

Most other settlements are mixed, with humans being most prevalent.

Humans seem to like to stick to their own settlements, but they are welcoming when other races join them.

What languages exist in the world, and what are we speaking at the moment?

There is a common human tongue here in the southlands, spoken by most.

Each of the races have their own language, with regional variations, of course. Speaking in these tongues (e.g., by using a dice roll for languages) will improve their reactions towards you (they'll be more friendly). Also, you can use the language skill to read certain documents or signs that you might otherwise be unable to.

But at least as far as Halstead's Inn is concerned, we're all speaking the same language. :)

You will surely encounter other languages, should you venture into the wild. We'll work on fleshing that out as we go along, and I'll definitely add languages should the players so desire.

I'm definitely going to have to write a bunch of this up in more detail (races, languages, etc.), that will be coming shortly.
Is there a temple or landmark that holds a precious artifact or item of value in Jithan?
If I have a crossbow is it assumed I have bolts or do I need to acquire them?

You have an unlimited number of standard bolts.

If you get any "special" bolts, there might be a limit to those.
Changing Toon to be seen as in charater ;-)
Meh, how come this died down?:\
