What the hell is this?

Had 2 emails about it but I dont remember signing up to its beta (Ive not even heard of Spicy Horse or whatever it is)

I wouldn't normally post this on a forum (id just delete it to be honest) but there was nothing in the email about NDA's so IMO its fair game

You bought the Groupees bundle, did you not? That's where it came from.

It's the American McGee F2P game that was a Groupees bundle bonus. Has anyone tried it yet?

Yeah, tried it today. Graphics is nice, although not awesome and music is pretty nice. As for gameplay, I don't know, not bad, but kinda repetitive. But I will continue again tomorrow. :D

Tried it for about 20 minutes and it convinced me to not pledge their kickstarter.

Graphic is pretty much indie-like, not great but has style. Sound is traditional japanese stuff, fitting without being pushy.

Gameplay - VERY basic Diablo ARPG - D1 that is... seems you could summon others to boss battles, though I haven't tried. What really gotten on my nerves was the constant "you see 2 low enemies ahead, approach, 5 more jump in" mechanic.
Fittingly the first boss battle taking the same road: magical wall appearing behind me, I see what seems to be some sort of zombified village elder - 2 hits, gone. Alpha wolf jumps in, starting to work on it, guess what? 5 more wolfs appear. Then another 5 more.... quit, won't bother to try again.

If you go for ARPG and are nowhere near Diablo 1, not graphically, gameplay / handling wise - sry, I'll pass.
Yes it's just a beta and I'm aware of that. But I fail to see the substance to grow upon.

I got 2 emails from them too. I did buy the Groupees bundle but I forgot that it came with a beta to the game. I thought that something fishy might have been going on. Oh well, I already asked them to close the beta account before looking here but I don't play games while they're in beta anyway.
