The sale doesn't normally take more than a few seconds to go through - if it hasn't finished yet then it probably isn't going to.

Unfortunately GOG's support staff have gone home for the evening so you're unlikely to get a response for the next 10 hours or so unless there happen to be some night-owls still up.

This situation happened to me once. I tried again to buy my games and that time it worked. I let support know and they checked my account for the extra charge and cancelled it. So I got my games and everything turned out fine.

I suggest you do the same thing: just try to buy those games again and let support know. That's the easiest thing to do, and it gets you your games right away (assuming you don't have the same problem again, but payment glitches are fairly rare, so having the issue twice in a is unlikely). Then in the morning support can cancel your original charge.

Alternatively you could wait until they come into work and they'll probably be able to add the games to your account manually for you.
I had an order for 57 games a few weeks ago and it broke their checkout system which was only designed to handle up to 50 games apparently. I submitted a request to GOG support and in the morning they messaged me about the flaw in their system which they were fixing, and they corrected the mistake by gifting me the games that went missing (7 games) and they did not charge the extra money that also got lopped off, so I ended up getting 7 free games. I would have been happy to just have the order corrected and the price adjusted to what it should have been, but this was a great customer service and support experience. I'd recommend just contacting support and politely telling them the problem and they will most likely fix you right up. GOG support folk are fantastic. "JuriJ" is the person in support who helped me out. Hope this helps! GOG rocks!
OP: The same just happened to me. I just ordered a bunch of games (for about $140) and I get nowhere from the purchasing page. The games didn't appear on my games, nor did I get the receipt mail, but the money is already reserved from my credit card account.

And this was already the third (or actually fourth) similar incident in these current promos for me (the first incident in 14th Dec hasn't been rectified yet, the second one has). I just sent a reminder mail to GOG support about the first case (ie. ARMA2 was charged three times, two first being similarly unsuccessful attempts to buy the game).

GOG, you seriously need to fix your billing system. It definitely should not charge anything until the games are added to the account and the confirmation email is sent.

I've had this happen before to me too. I would just take a screenshot and close the window since keeping it open isn't going to do you much good since they are going to need to fix this manually. Support should be in touch tomorrow at the latest, but I know that waiting is a pain ><
I had the same problem buying the Might and Magic bundle. I just went ahead and ordered it again like someone else said on this forum, they were able to give me my money-back on the second charge within 2 days.

But yeah, like others have said, don't fret these are the good guys.

retsuseiba: Worst case scenario you'll have to bugger the support team...
Isn't that a bit excessive? :O

bug and bugger: totally don't mean the same thing;)

OP, have you checked your shelf? I've had the system keep spinning for 20 minutes but simply checked my shelf and the games were there. Sometimes the AJAX callback just hangs since the sale started.

Yep. It's been a whole day and my games are still nowhere to be found. I sent another support ticket, but I fear my cries have fallen on deaf ears once again. It's probably nighttime in Europe right now, so I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow again.

I think it will be resolved eventually (mine too), but most probably we are just waiting in the long line of similar cases...

Relax. I had the same problems once. I contacted the support and they helped me after approx. 2 days. There are probably lots of things going on, so it might take one more day. Your game WILL arrive, no worries there.
Well, I can now consider this matter closed. My games have been added to my account and I can stop worrying about this.

JuriJ, if you are reading this, you are awesome!

Same here (37 games got added to my account, also the Arma2 case is apparently resolved, albeit I can't check it right now from the online bank).

The bad news is that I don't think there is really anything anymore on my GOG wishlist, even something for the heck of it. Oh well, waiting for new (and old) releases next week.
